Cynthia Le Sueur-Aquin - President and CEO

Ms. Le Sueur-Aquin has over 40 years of mine management experience in the precious metal mining industry.  She has been involved in global exploration and production operations including the development and project management of many mines, sand and slimes recovery sites, and gold recovery plants throughout the world.  Her postings have provided her with direct exposure to cultural, political and regulatory issues in Indonesia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Canada, Mexico, Mozambique, Zambia, Botswana and other North African States.  She also has experience in project financing, mining property asset acquisitions and divestitures, corporate legal work and negotiations, company administration and investor relations.  Ms. Le Sueur-Aquin worked for Randgold and Exploration Corporation Limited, Rand Leases (V) Gold Mining Corporation Limited and Gold Fields Limited.  She was also Senior Vice-President, Exploration and Mining Projects for Antares Mining and Exploration Corp.

Michael Burmi - Director

Michael Burmi is an entrepreneur with 25 years’ experience building and managing high-end technology manufacturing organizations, coupled with extensive expertise in running a high-revenue, high-growth engineering/manufacturing business. Over the course of his career, he has worked with several global organizations leading to acquisitions and mergers, allowing these companies to redefine business strategies to capture market share.

Jonathan Covello - Director

Jonathan Covello has been the Chief Executive Officer and the President of Covello Financial Group Inc. since March 2012. He is also affiliated with Tipi Financial for First Nations Pensions and benefits as well as the Director of Canadian Business Development for Metals House Inc. for procurement of precious metals.  Mr. Covello has experience in raising strategic capital in many industries, including the mining industry, using global connections. He works closely with corporations and individuals to maximize tax efficiencies, profitability, and protect their wealth. His business experience over 25 years has provided him with a large network of relationships spanning multiple sectors. Mr. Covello is well versed in niche project financing, corporate legal work and negotiations, company administration and investor relations.

Tyler Dilney - CFO

Tyler Dilney is a senior financial professional known for his strategic and results-driven leadership. With over 14 years of experience, he has served as Chief Financial Officer and Controller for private and publicly traded companies in the mining, technology, and oil and gas sectors, including organizations listed on the TSX, TSXV, and CSE. His expertise spans corporate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, strategic planning, tax compliance, and capital markets. A Chartered Professional Accountant, Tyler began his career in public accounting, building a strong foundation in financial reporting and accounting standards.  

Vikram Jayaraman - Director

Vikram Jayaraman is a senior mining executive with over 20 years of international experience in project development, capital markets, and operational leadership. He currently serves as Senior Vice President, Advisory and Operations – North America at DRA Global (ASX: DRA), overseeing multi-office operations and governance across Canada and the U.S. Vikram has led major mining initiatives with DRA Global, Outotec (Metso), and Ashland Inc., and is recognized for his expertise in ESG-linked advisory, NI 43-101 compliance, and strategic growth. He holds engineering degrees from McGill and NIT India, and an MBA from the University of Toronto (Rotman).

Sean Ghosal - Director

Sankarsan (“Sean”) Ghosal is a capital markets professional with over a decade of experience in the global metals and mining sector, spanning engineering, equity research, and investment structuring. He currently serves on the Mining Streaming and Royalties team at Sprott Inc., where he is involved in deal origination, technical and financial due diligence, and structuring investments across early-stage mining assets.

Prior to Sprott, Sean worked in mining equity research at Stifel GMP, where he contributed to coverage of major mining companies and developed valuation models based on NI 43-101 technical data. His earlier experience includes roles in project engineering, business development, and mining operations, providing him with a strong technical foundation.

Sean brings a unique combination of engineering insight and capital markets expertise, supporting LAURION in aligning its technical strategy with investor expectations and advancing capital-efficient pathways for project development.
